Please join YPT Boston for the next event in our Brown Bag Lunch Series, where we highlight projects your fellow young professionals are working on! Jessica Robertson, Transportation Coordinator at the Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC), will present her work on Hubway, Boston's bike share system. Hubway was launched in July 2011 with 600 bicycles and 60 stations throughout Boston. Planned as a regional system, Hubway was initiated under Mayor Menino's nationally recognized Boston Bikes Program, which aims to build Boston into one of the world's premiere cycling cities. The City of Boston is working with MassDOT, MAPC, MBTA and FTA to expand the system into more Boston neighborhoods and surrounding communities. For more information, visit www.thehubway.com.

The event will take place On Tuesday, June 12 from 12-1 PM at MAPC (60 Temple Place in Boston) in the third floor conference room. You MUST register in advance. Your name will be on the security list and you will need to present a photo ID to enter. Please arrive on-time and bring a lunch. If you have any questions, contact us at yptboston@gmail.com.
